Rejuvenate Worn Wiper Blades
Nothing wears windshield wipers down faster than accumulated winter grime. The Mud and salt leave streaks that make it hard to see. An easy remedy is to pour a bit of rubbing alcohol onto a cloth or rag and use it to clean the wiper blade edges. Now the old timers used to use tabaco bags.
The solvents in the alcohol dissolve the dirt so your blades will make a clean sweep.
To prolong the wiper blades, don't tug them free from the windshield on cold mornings and don't switch them on to help scrape away the ice and frost. ( both of these tare or otherwise damage the rubber blade. If you can put a sock on them.
You might try 1 part vinegar to 4 parts water in a spray bottle to help break up the ice on the window. Scrape the Window. Let it clear off from the heat in the car. Park in the sun.
Choose the right blade for you make and model of Vehicle.
Enjoy your Winter
